Jukaiju is a fully creatable, open-source, free-to-play card game—an alternative to flushing your money down a corporate toilet. It’s built for players who want more than just to collect. It’s built for players who want to make.

Out there in the world are small monsters.
Well—small for monsters, anyway.
They’re waiting to be discovered, explored, captured… and owned.
Unlike other games, where the goal is to collect cards someone else designed, Jukaiju puts you in control. Not just of the strategy. Not just of the deck. But of the cards themselves.
🧬 How It Works
There’s a base set of Jukaiju cards that you can print—for free—from this website. All you need is standard business card paper from your local office store. Color or black and white? Up to you.
Once printed, those cards are yours forever.
But that’s just the beginning.
With Jukaiju, you can—and should—make your own creatures.
Draw them. Paint them. Clip-art them. Sticker them. Collage them. Name them. Stat them. Mutate them. Make them yours.
Want to trade? Exchange homebrew monsters with a friend.
Want to play with someone else’s art? Have them draw your next kaiju.
The creation system is simple to use, but endlessly variable, meaning every player’s collection—and battlefield—will be different.

Jukaiju isn’t a clone of what’s come before.
The rules blend the intuition of rock-paper-scissors with the positioning and strategy of chess, creating a system that’s easy to learn but surprisingly deep.
